There are two types of categories:-

Water based Makeup:

Water-based makeup is repeatedly smudge-proof once it has dried. This makeup is so popular because it is removed simply with water and soap, and it also exists in many colors.

Oil based cream makeup:

Cream Makeup’s do not dry, and when used alone, they are not smudge proof. This can cause a problem on stage because you do not up to scratch your face melting exactly. This is very important because a theater actor is moving around and exerting a lot of energy, they may be worried as well, and on top of all of this they are under extremely hot lights.

Face Powder:

It is used to set makeup and hold it in place.

Lipstick:

Lipstick is the final step of your makeup. For your lips, since the lip sticks are so dark, it may not be essential to use lip liner. If you will need dark lipsticks, black mascara, black eye-liner, black or other dark-colored eye-shadow and a face powder that is a shade or two lighter than your skin quality.

Mascara:

Mascara finishes your makeup. You can apply mascara to your upper and lower lashes. If you have gloomy eyes use black, fleet, dark brown or plain mascara. After the mascara has dry, smoothly powder your eyes again. This will help set the mascara so, like the eye-liner.
